Hospice Cat Knows When Patients are Near Death

MSNBC has the story of a companion cat at a hospice center who seems to know when patients are very close to death. Read "Cat Plays Furry Grim Reaper at Nursing Home."

Here at Castle Newtonstein, both my mother and my mother-in-law are permanent residents. Our older cat, Kahlil, visits both laps regularly. I doubt we will find a similar predictive value in her behavior.
